At present, the main thing available here is my old www.ashes.demon.co.uk "homepages" site, preserved after Vodafone (who had ended up owning the old Demon Internet brand) decided to scrap all the remaining hostname.demon.co.uk sub-domains in July 2020: for no readily apparent reason, they refused to continue licensing the use of the demon.co.uk domain to Namesco, who had been providing e-mail and web hosting services to former Demon customers for several years (after Vodafone abruptly stopped offering those services and threw their customers over the wall to Namesco).
ashes.demon.co.uk (RIP) existed for a little over 27 years, from 1993 to 2020; it was the home of the PCOak DOS e-mail client, and of the GremNOS variant of KA9Q. Both are preserved here for posterity (some people are still using them!)
